Watch YouTube Highlights is FunCove's browser extension for people reviewing captioned YouTube lectures, tutorials and interviews on desktop Chrome or Firefox. Use the text-summary and current-video chat tools to make a first pass through the captions. For lecture notes, check the proposed concepts and definitions against the original explanation, then add your own questions. A separate highlights view selects timestamped passages and plays them in the original YouTube video; it does not export an edited video. Read-aloud is also available. The free plan includes ONE successful AI request per UTC day per stored browser account, shared across highlights, text summaries, chat and new audio generation. No separate product sign-in or personal AI key is required. Optional monthly USD plans are $1.99 for 50 source-video hours, $2.99 for 100, $4.99 for 200 and $9.99 for unlimited use. Each new paid analysis or audio generation counts the full source-video duration. Unused hours do not roll over. An available cached result can be reused without a new AI request, but reload or navigation can clear temporary results. Captions are required. Captions and relevant chat context pass through FunCove and its configured AI provider. AI may make errors or miss diagrams and demonstrations: verify important points in the source.
