Growing together.

Give your project more places to be found.

List your project free, copy its badge from the listing page, and publish it on your website. Verify the page below to join this directory and compete for the four homepage spots. At five different-voter votes, your embed is highlighted and ranks ahead of embeds below that threshold. No payment required.

Three free traffic tiers (https://promoteindex.com/seo): (1) List your project for a public, indexable page and discovery by people and AI tools. (2) Publish the classic badge plus its listing link on the project's own website, then POST /api/v1/projects/{slug}/embed with header X-Edit-Key and JSON {embedUrl} (or MCP verify_project_embed with slug, editKey, embedUrl). We fetch the public page to verify both badge and link. Verified embeds join https://promoteindex.com/embedded and compete for four homepage spots. (3) With a verified embed and 5 votes from different voters, the project is highlighted ahead of other embeds. Within each group, most votes first; ties use the slug. Embeds are re-checked about hourly and disappear from the showcase if the badge or link is missing. The classic badge works before five votes; showcase badge designs and a followable Website link unlock at 5 votes from different voters even without an embed. Vote identities use a network/browser hash, not verified people; do not manufacture votes. Use GET /api/v1/embeds to discover current embedded projects. The benefit is added discovery and referral paths, not guaranteed rankings, traffic or AI recommendations. Paid links remain rel="sponsored noopener"; a backlink is optional for a free listing.
