PDFAnnotations is a privacy-first PDF annotation toolset for researchers, students, writers, lawyers, and knowledge workers. It extracts highlights, comments, sticky notes, underlines, wavy lines, and strikeouts; removes supported annotation types; converts XFDF and XML FDF annotation data; and exports to Markdown, CSV, TXT, Obsidian, Notion, Excel, JSON, ZIP, and custom templates. Pro Workspace adds filtering, organization, batch processing, and backup. Files are parsed and exported locally in the browser and are not uploaded for parsing or export. Free core tools have a 3-PDF daily limit; Pro adds higher limits and advanced workflows.
